personal info in rental application
Tashik: Интересно, при оформлении заявки на съем квартиры попросили очень много какои личнои информации, например; full names of family members, SIN's, drivers licence#, licence plates of my car, name of my bank and bank account#, and so on. разве что не хватает дать им мои пин-коды и номер моеи Visa card. Как считаете, не многовато ли хотят?

ShadowBlade: имхо многовато ... правда, когда я подавал, у меня многого из этого просто не было (СИН'а, прав). Так что если нет желания давать инфу можно просто типа нету

Usually - not required (you can use your parking spot for any non-commercial vehicle, not necessarily yours). Tashik: That's right, but isn't it perfect ground for identity thiefs?! All this details look ok separately but all together make a good "KGB portfolio". They know our full names, sin's,driver's licence# e.t.c. Seems to me that well established companies which do not ask for this kind of info will find other ways to nail you in case you don't pay them rent Think about that in another perspective: your bank would not ask you that kind of info when you go there to get your morgage! and here just to apply for an appartment they are asking too much.
