Курсы для инженеров при Менонит центре
серый: Вот прочел у них на сайте,что для инженеров существуют при ихнем центре курсы,годичные если не ошибаюсь по окончании которых получаешь сертификат технолога.Кто нибудь брал эти курсы?Уровень преподавания они вроде обещают достаточно высокий,преподаватели из НАИТ,насколько это так,и что значит сертификат технолога,не очень понятно.

Nocturnal: This certificate will work only in alberta. Does not recognized anywhere else. It is equivalent to engeneering degree. If u planning to live all your life here it's the way to go.

Nocturnal: NAIT's certificate yes. Mennonite NO. People often think that NAIT and Mennonite are same cirtificates. No they are different. And it would not work anywhere else but Alberta.

Pantera: НАИТ даёт сертификат, который будет котироваться по всей Канаде, ну а страндарты Канады и Америки частично взаимствованы (это будет прямо пропечатано в сертификате: Red Seal Certificate - для рабочих специальностей (для электриков точно даётся), Blue Seal - для административных работников, Gold Seal - для руководителей строительных проектов или самих проектировщиков)
серый: Что -то я запутался так что Менонайт дает свой сертификат,не НАИтовский,они пишут что преподаватели из НАИТ у них,и по окончании курса получаеш членство в ассоциации технологов Альберты?
Nocturnal: yep. Mennonite gives it's own certificate. Althou teachers are from the NAIT. But they are different. Even some employers think that they are the same, but no it is two different certificates. I know because i've asked. Go to Mennonite and ask if certificates is the same, or to NAIT, they will tell you what is different. As fas as i know, only difference is that Mennonite is does not work outside alberta. But if you planning to stay here it is does not matter. Also if you have Mennonite certificate that means that you have engineering degree outside of Canada.
Nocturnal: what are you planning to take and how much time do you have? If you have lots of time go to engineering association, mmm...i forgot how it's called, i know aset for technologist and there is one for engineers, they will make you equalification paper and you may continue in UofA. Depends how long ago you've got you diploma and how the standards are different.
